Short Memories

I was reading a transcript of an NPR interview with Nancy Pelosi, wherein, she said that she had demanded that President Bush "apologize" to the American people for the current economic troubles in our country. What a load of crap. Should she have to apologize for her crusade to raise minimum wage that has undoubtedly increased inflation and exacerbated the problems? Should Bill Clinton have to apologize for the deregulation of commercial banks, allowing them to get into the securities business and begin inventing complex and exotic forms of credit and loans? Or at the very least, she should demand a posthumous apology from Woodrow Wilson, who signed the Federal Reserve Act into law. I am continually disgusted by this woman.
